Billy Roisz
Billy Roisz (actually: Bettina Roisz ; * 1967 in Vienna ) is an Austrian video and performance artist and musician ( e-bass , electronics ).
Life
Billy Roisz came into contact with avant-garde film in Vienna in the early 1990s . Since the late 1990s she has been experimenting with electromagnetic signals from CRT televisions and the interference between sound and image.
She makes short films or appears as a live performer. She worked with Dieb13 , Angélica Castelló , Toshimaru Nakamura , ERikm , Ilpo Väisänen and the video artist Michaela Grill .
The short films zounk! , darkroom and THE could be seen in the Berlinale Shorts competition .
