The Birdland Neuburg is a jazz club originally founded in 1958 in Neuburg an der Donau .

The Birdland Jazz Club eV Neuburg initially ended its activities in the mid-1960s and was revived in 1985 by Manfred Rehm . Stars like John Scofield , Carla Bley , Charlie Haden and Diana Krall play regularly in the vaulted cellar of the former Hofapotheke (Amalienstraße 52), which was uncovered in 1991 ; Due to the attractive program, the audience sometimes travels nationwide. Some of the concerts are recorded and broadcast by Bavarian Radio ; The Birdland Radio Festival has existed since 2011 in cooperation with the broadcaster . Some live recordings from Birdland have been released on audio media; the club also operates its own label.

The Birdland Neuburg received an award in 2013 for its concert program and received the German venue award from Minister of State Bernd Neumann .
