Birgit Lehr (born April 9, 1959 in Ohl ) is a German table tennis player . She won the German mixed championship in 1983.

youth

Birgit Lehr began her career at the TV Klaswipper association. Via the stations TTC Aggertal and SSV Hagen , she made it to Post SV Düsseldorf in 1977 in the women's Bundesliga . In the 1970s she won a total of 11 titles in school and youth tournaments of the West German Table Tennis Association . In 1974 she was nominated for the German squad for the European Youth Championship in Göppingen. In 1976 she was German youth champion in singles. Further successes in the youth field were.

  • 1975/76: National German Youth Championships: 1st place in singles and doubles with Gisela Jacob
  • 1976/77: National ranking tournament DTTB-TOP12 of the juniors: 2nd place

Her greatest success among adults was winning the National German Championship for adults in 1983 in mixed with Manfred Nieswand .

Birgit Lehr works as a healing educator, she has lived in Schleswig-Holstein since 2008.
