Bisazza is an Italian manufacturer of mosaic stones, exclusive glass mosaic tiles and the market leader in the field of high quality mosaics.

history

Bisazza was founded in 1956 by Renato Bisazza (1925–2012) under the name Vetricolor in Montecchio Maggiore, southwest of Vicenza . The Bisazza company has been producing design-defining glass mosaic tiles that have achieved worldwide fame since then. In December 1999 Piero Bisazza took over the company from his father. In 2002 the management was expanded to include the sister Rossella Bisazza.

In 2005 the company employed around 900 people in four production facilities and had a turnover of 100.4 million euros. In 2007 the turnover was 134 million euros.

Even today, the glass stones are handcrafted using old technology and colored with sand oxides. Bisazza glass mosaic stones are used in luxury bathrooms, decorate shops, hotels and restaurants and have also been used in underground stations in Vienna , Naples and London .
