Diocese of Condom
The Bishop of Condom ( lat. : Dioecesis Condomiensis ) was one in France situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Condom .
history
The diocese Condom was on August 13, 1317 by Pope John XXII. erected with the papal bull Salvator noster from cession of territory of the diocese of Agen . The first bishop was Raimond de Galard . In 1763 the Condom diocese comprised around 140 parishes . It was divided into two archdeaconates : Condom and Nérac .
On November 29, 1801, the Condom diocese was dissolved as a result of the Concordat of 1801 by Pope Pius VII with the papal bull Qui Christi Domini and the territory was annexed to the Agen diocese.
