The Bistum Gboko ( lat. : Dioecesis Gbokensis ) is in Nigeria preferred Roman Catholic diocese based in Gboko . It includes the Local Government Areas Gboko, Buruku , Kwande , Ushongo , Vandeikya , Tarka and Konshisha .

history

Pope Benedict XVI founded the diocese on December 29, 2012 from cession of territory of the diocese Makurdi and subordinated it to the Archdiocese of Abuja as a suffragan .
