The Bistum Mawlamyine ( lat. : Dioecesis Maulamyinensis ) is an in Myanmar preferred Roman Catholic diocese based in Mawlamyine .

history

The diocese Mawlamyine was established on March 22, 1993 by Pope John Paul II from cession of territory of the Archdiocese of Yangon and subordinated to this as a suffragan diocese. First Bishop was Raymond Saw Po Ray .
