The Diocese of Thamarasserry ( Latin Dioecesis Thamarasserrensis ) is a diocese of the Syro-Malabar Church, united with the Roman Catholic Church, with its seat in Thamarasserry in India .

history

Pope John Paul II founded it with the Apostolic Constitution Constat non modo on April 28, 1986 from cession of territory to the Tellicherry eparchy and made it subject to the Archdiocese of Ernakulam-Angamaly as a suffragan diocese .

On May 18, 1995, it became part of the ecclesiastical province of the Tellicherry Archeparchy.
