Björn Moschinski (* 1979 in the GDR ) is a German vegan cook, author and animal rights activist . Until March 2015 he was the owner of the vegan restaurant MioMatto in Berlin.

Life

Björn Moschinski graduated as a power electronics technician in 1998 and a degree as a media designer in 2002 . From 2001 to 2005 he worked as a caterer and cooked with purely vegetable ingredients for film sets, large events, concerts, company celebrations and private parties. In 2008 he opened the vegan gourmet restaurant La Mano Verde in Berlin, where he worked as head chef. In 2009 he was the first vegan chef in Der Feinschmecker magazine . In 2011 he and partners opened the vegan restaurant Kopps, which was also mentioned in the magazine Der Feinschmecker in the same year. In 2013 he opened the MioMatto in Berlin-Friedrichshain . Moschinski has appeared several times on television as an expert in vegan cooking. In 2018 he appeared in the animal rights film Citizen Animal - A Small Family's Quest for Animal Rights .
