Björn von Schlippe

Björn Alexander von Schlippe (* 1966 in Münster ) is a German illustrator , commercial artist and cardboard artist.

In 1989 he became Junior Art Director of the Nolte advertising agency, in 1991 he won the ADC Prize as Junior of the Year, and one year later he started working as a freelance illustrator.

Von Schlippe calls himself a carton boxer .

His idea of ​​making three-dimensional collages out of cardboard came about in 1996 when he cut toy figures for his daughter. The people in Hamburg , where he currently lives, provide him with ideas for his colorful cardboard factories .

Von Schlippe publishes his works in the Financial Times Deutschland , Amica , Fit for Fun , Merian and Men's Health ; his advertisers include: B. Springer & Jacoby and McCann Erickson .

Since 2000 he has also given courses on the subject of nude drawing in the Hamburg-Altona sculpture workshop and is a private lecturer at the Bildkunstakademie in Hamburg.
