Bjørn Sundquist
Bjørn Richard Sundquist (born June 16, 1948 in Hammerfest ) is a Norwegian actor .
Life
Bjørn Sundquist is of Sami descent on his mother's side . During his youth he played as a guitarist in various bands. As an actor, he repeatedly showed his skills as a guitarist in various roles. He completed his acting training in Oslo . He has worked as a theater actor since 1972 and was a permanent member of the ensemble at Det Norske Teatret and Nationaltheatret , among others .
He made his screen debut in 1979 in the drama Kronprinsen, directed by Pål Bang-Hansen . He played the main role of Roald, who tries to protect his political career from corrupt politicians. Since then he has worked in more than 130 film and television productions. He was nominated six times for the Norwegian film award Amanda for Best Actor ; He was awarded four times, namely for Der Fall Feldmann , Sonntagsengel , Sejer - se deg ikke tilbake and Kill Billy .
Sundquist has been married since 1971. The couple have one son.
