The Black Burn is a watercourse in Cumbria , England . It arises north of the Cross Fell and flows north to its confluence with the South Tyne east of Leadgate .
Part of the lower reaches of the Black Burn has been recorded as geomorphologically significant in the Moor House and Cross Fell Site of Special Scientific Interest .
