The Blankenburger See is a natural lake with unpilled surface drainage through the Rauegraben to the northeast bay "Lanke" of the Oberuckersee . It is located in the municipality of Oberuckersee in the state of Brandenburg. The body of water belonging to the Uckermark Lakes is about 52 hectares and has an island. The lime-rich, stratified lake has a relatively large catchment area of around 16 km 2 . The district of Blankenburg lies on its southern bank .
The LAWA water number of the lake is 800019681383. The LAWA trophy index in 2014 was 2.51 and was thus in the lower eutrophic range (eu1). The total phosphorus concentration was 52.6 µg / l in spring and 48.7 µg / l in summer.
The main fish species are, in addition to various types of white fish, pike , pikeperch , perch , eel , tench and catfish .
