Location of bubbles in Bavaria

Blowjob is a hamlet in the Passau district in Lower Bavaria . It belongs to the Ortenburg market and is about half a kilometer north of Göbertsham .

It consists of the three farms Huber, Bartl and Mesner.

Name origin

Bubbles was referred to as Wendelkirchen in 1292 and in the conscription of 1752.

Later, the name of the Church of St. Blasien , which was slurred into bubbles, replaced the original place name.

history

A small church had existed there since 1292, the Chapel of St. Blasien, which did not have its own priest, was consecrated to Saint Blasius and was assigned to the Fürstenzell monastery . Bubbles was once given to the monastery by the Lords of Rottau.

In 1752, the deserted areas of Stockinger, Vogelsang and Hager were also included in the place called Wendelkirchen at that time .

The chapel was demolished in 1811 after the secularization and the building material obtained from the demolition was used for the vicarage of Höhenstadt .

In 1838 the place became part of the newly created village of Dorfbach , which was congruent with the tax district of Dorfbach, which was created in 1811. In the course of the municipal reform , Dorfbach, and with it bubbles, came to the municipality of Ortenburg on July 1, 1972.

In the years 1992 to 1998, a new municipal drinking water supply system with a 138 m deep well and an elevated tank for 2,000 m³ of water was built in the Blasen forest for 3.1 million euros .
