The blastocladiales are an order of mushrooms . Formerly assigned to the Chytridiomycetes , they have been a separate division of Blastocladiomycota since 2006 .

features

The cells have a flagellum . They have a core cap made of ribosomes . The nucleus is conical, the pointed end is close to the kinetosome , the root of which consists of 27 microtubules in groups of three. The microtubules extend from the kinetosome to the cell cap and cover the cell nucleus and cap.

Systematics

The class Blastocladiomycetes with the only order Blastocladiales corresponds to the Allomycetes proposed by Thomas Cavalier-Smith , but their description was very vague.

The following families belong to the Blastocladiales:

Blastocladiaceae (Petersen 1909) a. a. with Allomyces and Blastocladia
Catenariaceae (Couch 1945) are thread- shaped
Coelomomycetaceae (Couch 1962) are obligatory parasites on insects
Physodermataceae [syn. Urophlyctidaceae] (Schroeter 1886) are obligate parasites on angiosperms , u. a with Urophlyctis and Physoderma , whose representatives P. zeamaydis syn. P. maydis is the causative agent of brown spot disease in maize ( Zea mays ).
Sorochytriaceae (Dewel 1985) with Sorochytrium , whose representative S. milnesiophtora parasitizes on tardigrades (Tardigrada).

Polycaryum ( stamp 1901)

Nematoceromyces (Doweld 2013)

Blastocladiella (Matthews 1937) syn. Clavochytridium (Couch & Cox 1939), Sphaerocladia (Stüben 1939)
