The Blaue Lacke is a mountain lake in the Stubai Alps . It is located northeast of the Wilder Pfaff at 2289  m above sea level. A. Altitude 500 meters southwest of the Sulzenauhütte , three kilometers north of the Austrian- Italian border. It was created by the melting of the Sulzenauferners and is dammed by its bank moraine from the 1850s level. It is drained by a branch of the Sulzenau stream. The Lübecker Weg leads from the Sulzenauhütte to the Aperen Freiger directly on the lake .
