Blee is an old location in Monheim am Rhein . Blee is bounded in the north by Heilerberg, in the east by Alfred-Nobel-Strasse, in the west by Rheinuferstrasse and in the south by the city limits of Leverkusen - Hitdorf .

history

In the 10th century, an upper court in Blee was mentioned, which belonged to Werden Abbey and served as an upper court of other farms in Monheim , Richrath and Rheindorf . The Abbey Altenberg bought in the 12th and 13th centuries the country in Blee, the Knights of Sibodo of Blee (de Sibodonius sheets) and his wife Petronilla was supported. In 1246 a daughter church of the Monheimer St. Gereon Church in Blee became known. A ferry has operated across the Rhine since 1399. In 1830 Blee was a village with 96 inhabitants.
