Blienshofen is a district of the city of Ehingen in the Alb-Donau district in Baden-Württemberg .
The hamlet is located about three kilometers northeast of Ehingen and can be reached via county road 7422.
history
Blienshofen is first mentioned in a document in 1268. The place belonged to the Berg rule and in 1343 came to Upper Austria . Since the end of the 14th century at the latest, local rule had been with the Urspring Monastery .
In 1805 Blienshofen came to Württemberg and was initially subordinate to the regional authority of Urspring . From 1810 Blienshofen belonged to the Oberamt Ehingen .
Blienshofen was incorporated in 1972 as a district of Heufelden zu Ehingen.
