The Bloor Passage is a strait off the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula . It separates the Wilhelm Archipelago , starting from Meek Channel to the north, the island Corner Iceland from Uruguay Island , both for the group of Argentine islands belong.
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named the passage in 1959 after Able Seaman Vincent Thomas Bloor (* 1933) of the Royal Navy , a member of the British Hydrographic Surveying Unit, which was active in the area between 1957 and 1958.
