Božo Jemc (born March 10, 1940 in Bled ) is a former Yugoslav ski jumper .

Career

Jemc made his international debut at the Four Hills Tournament in 1959/60 . In his first competition on the Great Olympic Hill in Garmisch-Partenkirchen , he was sixth among the top ten. He was also able to achieve a very good result with eighth place on the Bergiselschanze in Innsbruck . After he was able to jump to a top rank in Bischofshofen with 12th place, he finished the tour in 28th place overall. After a two-year break, he started again at the Four Hills Tournament in 1961/62 . He achieved his first and only podium with second place on the Schattenbergschanze in Oberstdorf . But since he could not build on this success in the other competitions, he only finished 30th in the overall ranking. Also in the Four Hills Tournament 1962/63 and the Four Hills Tournament 1963/64 he did not reach any top placements.

He ended his active career with the start of the Olympic Winter Games in Innsbruck in 1964 . After the 23-year-old Jemc reached 49th place on the normal hill, he jumped from the large hill to 40th place.
