Boaz Kimaiyo

Boaz Kimaiyo (born December 10, 1976 ) is a Kenyan marathon runner .

In 2002 he finished second in the Vienna City Marathon and sixth in the Amsterdam Marathon with his personal best of 2:08:44 h . In 2003 he won the Frankfurt Marathon in 2:09:28 h and was the first runner to stay below 2:10 at this event. The following year he won the same place in 2:09:10. In 2006 he had to be content with a tenth place in Frankfurt, in 2007 he was sixth in the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon and fifth in the Venice Marathon .

Boaz Kimaiyo is the younger brother of the equally successful marathon runner Erick Kimaiyo and has been married to his colleague Pamela Chepchumba since 2000 .
