Bob's Burgers: The Movie is an upcoming US animated film based on the television series Bob’s Burgers . The series is directed by the series creator Loren Bouchard , who is making his directorial debut and also acts as a screenwriter and producer.
The film was originally announced for a release on July 17, 2020. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic , publication is now planned for April 9, 2021.

On October 4, 2017, Fox announced that a movie was in the works based on the television series Bob's Burgers . In 2018, Loren Bouchard announced that the script had been accepted by the studios and that the film would be a musical comedy. In addition, the film will satisfy fans of the series as well as appeal to a new audience.
The original title Bob's Burgers: The Movie was announced on April 22, 2019 by author Cris Mertens. After the film was previously announced for July 17, 2020, it briefly disappeared from the release calendar. Disney admitted a little later that the film was just accidentally not shown and the release date was unchanged.
In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, the start of Bob's Burgers: The Movie was finally postponed. The release is now announced for April 9, 2021.
