Bob Linster (born August 28, 1995 ) is a Luxembourg ice hockey player who has been playing for the IHC Beaufort since 2015 . Since 2016 he takes with the team at the Belgian National League Division I in part. His older brother Kai is also a Luxembourg national ice hockey player.

Career

Bob Linster began his career at Hiversport Luxembourg , where he was active in the third French U18 league until 2013. From 2012 he also played for Tornado Luxembourg . First he played with the team in the Luxembourg league , from 2013 he was on the ice in the French Division 3 , the country's fourth-highest division. He has been under contract with the IHC Beaufort since 2015 . With the club from the canton of Echternach , he first played in the Rhineland-Palatinate League , a regional league of the fifth level in Germany. Since 2016 he has been playing with the team in the Belgian National League Division I , the country's second-highest division.

International

Linster made his debut for the national team of the Grand Duchy at the 2017 World Cup , when the Luxembourgers were promoted from Division III to Division II. At the 2018 World Cup , he then played in Division II.
