The Bockbach is a 1 km long watercourse in the Wasgau ( Rhineland-Palatinate ) in southern Palatinate and a left tributary of the Lauter , which is still called Wieslauter here on its upper course .

The Bockbach rises in Wasgau in a forest area on the southwest slope of the Bobenthaler button at an altitude of 300  m above sea level. NN and initially flows in a north-westerly direction. After almost 100 meters it joins the northern source branch. The unified brook flows south-west, curves at the fallow forest on the Bocksbach and turns south. To the east of the Bockbach-Rech gain , his path leads back to the southwest. It then reaches the southeastern edge of Bobenthal and finally flows underground, piped at an altitude of 179  m above sea level. NN from the left into the Wieslauter .
