Bodenhausen is a deserted village in the district of Züschen , a district of Fritzlar in the Schwalm-Eder district in northern Hesse .

It is located around 250 m north of the state road L 3218 from Züschen to Wellen at an altitude of around 250  m around 1 km southwest of Züschen at the "Bodenhauser Graben" in the "Zu Bodenhausen" corridor , which is separated from the corridors "Am Bodenhäuser Weg" and " Am Bodenhäuser Graben ”is flanked. About 700 m to the south are the remains of the wall of the Kreuzkirche in a group of trees, the last remnant of the Hertingshausen deserted village .

Nothing is known about the history of the Bodenhausen settlement.
