Bodo Primus

Bodo Primus (born November 30, 1938 in Berlin ) is a German actor , radio play speaker and literary reciter .

Life

Bodo Primus, born in Berlin, grew up in various regions of Germany as a result of the war. He attended the Petrinum grammar school in Recklinghausen and studied acting at the Folkwanghochschule in Essen. Permanent engagements followed in Münster, Essen, Krefeld, Gelsenkirchen, at the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus under Karl-Heinz Stroux and at the Cologne City Theaters .

Since 1962, radio and television activities have been added: radio play, recitation, feature, literature, live performances, television games and documentaries as well as tasks as a voice actor for feature films. Bodo Primus has been working as a freelance actor since 1970. From 2004 to 2008 he held a teaching position at the Robert Schumann Musikhochschule Düsseldorf as a lecturer in speech training and role design .

Probably his best-known radio play role is the detective Jonas in the radio play series The Last Detective of Bayerischer Rundfunk , which has achieved cult status as the pocket computer Sam in 42 episodes with Joachim Wichmann and Peer Augustinski . Furthermore, Bodo Primus was involved in numerous audio book projects. His voice can often be heard on WDR radio and television .
