Bogdan Țăruş

Bogdan Țăruş ( Gabriel Bogdan Țăruş ; born August 1, 1975 in Piatra Neamț ) is a Romanian long jumper .

At the World Athletics Championships in Gothenburg in 1995 , Athens in 1997 and Seville in 1999 and the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, he was eliminated from the qualification. At the IAAF World Indoor Championships in 1999 he was sixth and ninth at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney.

Another out of qualification at the 2001 World Championships in Edmonton was followed by a tenth place at the 2003 World Championships in Paris / Saint-Denis.

In 2004 he was fourth at the World Indoor Championships in Budapest and eighth at the Olympic Games in Athens .

He set his best performance of 8.29 m on May 18, 1996 in Formia . In the hall he managed another jump with 8.30 m on January 29, 2000 in Bucharest .
