Bogenhausen is a district of the town of Rottenburg an der Laaber in the Lower Bavarian district of Landshut . Until 1874 the place was the seat of the municipality of the same name.

history
The neighboring communities Oberhatzkofen and Bogenhausen were founded by the Bavarian community edict in 1818 and initially belonged to the Pfaffenberg district court , then to the Rottenburg court and Rottenburg an der Laaber district office. In 1858 the attempt to unite the communities of Oberhatzkofen, Niederhatzkofen , Bogenhausen and Unterlauterbach into one community failed . On May 20, 1874, the communities Niederhatzkofen and Bogenhausen were incorporated into the community of Oberhatzkofen. On May 1, 1978, as part of the regional reform in Bavaria, the municipality of Oberhatzkofen was incorporated into the city of Rottenburg adLaaber.
