Bohdan Dsjurach CSsR ( Ukrainian Богдан Дзюрах ; born March 20, 1967 in Hirske , Lviv Oblast , Ukrainian SSR ) is a bishop of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church . He is Auxiliary Bishop in the Archeparchy of Kiev and heads the Curia of the Grand Archbishopric of Kiev-Halych .

Life

Bohdan Dzjurach was ordained a priest on March 17, 1991 by Auxiliary Bishop Julian Voronowskyi MSU ( Lemberg ) . He joined the Redemptorist religious order and took his religious vows on August 19, 1995. On December 21, 2005, Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . the titular bishop of Vagada and it summoned the same time auxiliary bishop in Kiev . Major Archbishop Cardinal Lubomyr Husar consecrated him on 15 February 2006 to the bishop, but he was the co-consecrators Archbishop Ihor Wosnjak CSsR from Lviv and Bishop Julian Woronowskyj MSU from Sambir-Drohobych supported. In 2009 he was appointed Curia Bishop of the Grand Archbishopric of Kiev-Halych and heads the Episcopal Curia. He was also elected Secretary of the Synod of Bishops for the Bishops of the Greek Catholic Church in Ukraine. In this capacity he was also a participant in the 2010 Special Assembly of the Synod of Bishops for the Middle East .
