His debut novel Ludwisar. Games of the Nobles , which takes place in Lviv in the 16th century and is a syncretistic mixture of different literary genres, immediately won the Grand Pris of Koronacja Slowa - the coronation of the word - in Kiev. As a result, the author remained true to his historical subjects, which he enriched with moments of magic, fantasy and criminal cases: Several volumes of detective stories followed, in which Commissioner Adam Wistowytsch solved cases in Lviv at the beginning of the 20th century. In 2016 Kolomijchuk continued his debut novel with The King of Pain . His last novel, Mozart from Lembegr, is for the son of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Franz Xaver , who worked in Galicia and Lviv from 1808 to 1838 and whose life is described as full of passion, intrigue and adventure.
