Boholte Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the Danish island of Zealand . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Ramsø Herred in what was then Præstø Amt , then to Køge Kommune , which in turn became part of the enlarged Køge Kommune as part of the Sjælland region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .

On January 1, 2020, of the 37,754 inhabitants of the town of Køge, 6,847 were living in the parish. The "Boholte Kirke" lies on the territory of the municipality.

Neighboring municipalities are Køge Sogn in the north and east and Herfølge Sogn in the south and west .
