Bohuš Keler (born September 8, 1961 in Karviná as Bohuslav Keler ) is a former Czech football player and current football coach .

Club career

Keler started playing soccer at NHKG Karviná at the age of eight . In 1979 he moved to the youth department of Baník Ostrava , where he stayed for two years. His first position in the men's area was from 1981 to 1983, the then second division TJ ŽD Bohumín . Between 1983 and 1985 Keler did his military service at VTJ Tábor.

The midfielder then moved to TJ Vítkovice and was Czechoslovak champion in his first season. After five years in Ostrava , Keler joined the French Division 2 at Le Havre AC . He helped the team to rise to the top division, but moved to AS Angoulême-Charente 92 himself .

In 1993 Keler returned to the Czech Republic and joined his former club FC Vítkovice, for which he scored two goals in 17 top division games. After the season he ended his professional career, but let his career end with ČSA Karviná (1994/95) and as a player-coach at FK Krnov (1995 to 1997).

National team

Between 1980 and 1981 Keler completed nine games for the Czechoslovak U18 team, in which he scored four goals.

Coaching career

After his time as a player- coach in Krnov , Keler coached the third division team MSA Dolní Benešov from 1997 to 1999. He then took over the SFC Opava in the second division and led him to the Gambrinus League . After the ninth day of the 2001/02 season he was dismissed for lack of success. In the second half of the season he was again active in Dolní Benešov , for the 2002/03 season he took over the second division club 1. HFK Olomouc . After eight games, his contract was terminated. In the 2003/04 season he was a coach at his ex-club FC Vítkovice , but had to leave after only three wins from twelve games. As a result, he trained again until 2007 MSA Dolní Benešov. Since mid-2007 he has been the coach of SK Čeladná in the sixth division.
