Bolzaneto

Bolzaneto (in Ligurian : Borsanæo o Bösanæo [ 'bo: sa: neo ]) is a district of the northern Italian port city of Genoa . The district in Val Polcevera is bordered by the Pontedecimo district to the north and the Rivarolo district to the south . Neighboring autonomous communities are Ceranesi in the north, Serra Riccò in the north-west and Sant'Olcese in the north-east .

The municipality borders on the Sestri Ponente district to the west, along a ridge . However, there are no direct connections between the two districts. Together with Rivarolo and Pontedecimo, Bolzaneto forms the municipality of V Valpolcevera . The quarter itself consists of the Bolzaneto and Morego units and has a total of 15,334 inhabitants.
