Bondorf ( Luxembourgish Bungeref , French Bigonville ) is a village in the municipality of Rambruch in the canton of Redingen in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg .

Bondorf is located near the border with Belgium in the west of the Grand Duchy. Neighboring towns are Wolwelingen in the south and Rombach-Martelingen in the west and Greimelingen (Grumelange) and Martelingen (Martelange) on the Belgian side in the west .

General and history

Bondorf was first mentioned in a document in 1182. Until 1978 Bondorf was an independent municipality and was then incorporated into Rambruch. Then the community was dissolved and Arsdorf and Bilsdorf were incorporated into Rambruch.
