Rombach-Martelingen ( Luxembourgish Rombech , French Rombach-Martelange ) is a village in the municipality of Rambruch in the canton of Redingen in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg .

Rombach-Martelingen is located in the Sauer Valley directly on the border with Belgium in the far west of the Grand Duchy. Neighboring towns are Martelange (Martelingen) on the Belgian side, with which it forms a double town , and Obermartelingen and Wolwelingen in the south.
General and history
Rombach-Martelingen was originally part of Martelingen, but was separated from the town center along the Bastogne (Bastnach) - Arlon (Arel) road in 1839 when the Luxembourg-Belgian border was drawn as a result of the Belgian Revolution . Martelingen became Belgian, Rombach-Martelingen Luxembourg. In 1842 the place was assigned to the municipality of Perl . On January 1, 1979, the place then came to the new municipality of Rambruch.
