Boom Jinx

Boom Jinx (born September 10, 1974 in Bergen ; actually Øistein Johan Eide ) is a Norwegian DJ and music producer specializing in trance and progressive music .

biography

Boom Jinx began producing music in 1989 at the age of 15. He had a successful career in the film, television and video game industries, producing music for the video game Need for Speed and the television series CSI: Miami , among others . From 2005 he turned increasingly to electronic dance music . The producers of the trance music project Above & Beyond noticed him and signed him to their label Anjunabeats . His songs also received support from other well-known DJs such as Armin van Buuren , Tiësto , Paul van Dyk and Markus Schulz .

He worked with Andrew Bayer on some songs. The songs To the Six and Quadcore were particularly successful and were played as Record of the Week in Above & Beyonds radio show Trance Around the World . In November 2009 he supported Above & Beyond as a support act on their US tour in 15 cities.
