Daniel Kandi (* 29. November 1983 ) is a Danish Trance - DJ and billiard players from Aalborg .

biography

Daniel Kandi grew up with a brother and a single mother until the age of nine. His interest in producing music arose through a Playstation program. Later he successfully applied to a music manager with a self-made remix and got into the music business. In 2000 he started producing trance tracks as DJ Mendoza . With Anders Duvald Mikkelsen he formed a duo three years later called Duval and Mundo . As Aurelius they released in 2005 with Jamie P. song Sorrow . The following year he had a great success himself with the title Breathe on the British label Anjunabeats . He also attracted international attention at many trance events and made it into the top 100 DJ list of British DJ Magazine . The single Child / Nova was an international success in 2007. At the Danish DeeJay Awards, he was nominated as Danish DJ of the Year in 2011. He also works in a team with Fritz Niko under the name Hit'n'Run as a remixer for well-known Danish artists such as Tv · 2 , Infernal and Christine Milton .

Daniel Kandi is also a passionate snooker player. He regularly takes part in national tournaments and was Danish snooker champion five times in a row from 2004 to 2009 . In 2011 he released a single as Daniel Kandi presents 147 , alluding to the highest possible number of points in snooker ( maximum break ).

In pool , Kandi won the bronze medal in the 9-ball singles and the gold medal with the Danish team at the 2001 European Junior Championships. In 2007 he became Danish champion in the 9-ball discipline for the first time with a final win against Kasper Thygesen . In 2015 he won the Danish championship title in 10-ball and again in 2016 in 9-ball. In November 2016 he reached the quarter-finals of a world ranking tournament for the first time at the Kremlin Cup and was defeated there 4: 8 by the German Thorsten Hohmann .
