August Borckmann
August Borckmann (born April 5, 1827 in Berlin ; † October 9, 1890 ibid) was a German painter who worked primarily in Berlin and temporarily lived in Munich .
Borckmann studied painting at the Royal Prussian Academy of the Arts in Berlin. From 1856 onwards he was regularly represented at the exhibitions of the Academy.
