The Boredale Beck is a river in the Lake District , Cumbria , England . The Boredale Beck is being built on the north side of the Angletarn Pikes . The river flows here under the name Freeze Beck . On its course in a northerly direction, the river takes on the short tributaries of the Blue Gill and Redgate Gill and changes its name to Boredale Beck when it reaches the valley. The river continues to flow in a northerly direction and joins the Howegrain Beck south of Lake Ullswater to form Sandwick Beck .
