The Borer River is a river in the north of the Australian state of Queensland . The river does not carry water all year round, but only in the rainy season .

River course

It rises west of the Gregory Range , around 140 kilometers southwest of Georgetown . From there it flows to the northwest and flows into the Clara River about 8 kilometers southeast of Claraville .
