Borgofranco sul Po is a fraction of the northern Italian municipality ( comune ) Borgocarbonara with 761 inhabitants last (as of September 30, 2017) in the province of Mantua in Lombardy . The village is located about 34 kilometers east-southeast of Mantua on the Po and borders directly on the province of Rovigo ( Veneto ).
history
On January 1, 2019, Borgofranco sul Po was merged with the neighboring municipality of Carbonara di Po to form today's municipality of Borgocarbonara.
