Boris Kunz

Boris Kunz (* 1979 in Weiden in the Upper Palatinate ) is a German director and screenwriter .

Kunz grew up on Lake Chiemsee and trained as a director at the Munich University of Television and Film . His graduation film Three Hours with Nicholas Reinke and Claudia Eisinger in the leading roles premiered at the Hof Film Festival in 2012. In the same year, the film was also a guest at the Biberach Film Festival and was released in German cinemas in the summer of 2013. He is the director of the mini television series Labaule & Erben with Uwe Ochsenknecht based on an idea by Harald Schmidt for SWR , two of the episodes of which celebrated their world premieres on July 5, 2018 at the Munich Film Festival.
