Boschidar Konstantinow Mitrew ( Bulgarian Божидар Константинов Митрев ; English Bozhidar Mitrev ; born March 31, 1987 in Sofia , Bulgaria ) is a Bulgarian football goalkeeper. He has been without a club since February 2019.

Career

Mitrew played with Levski Sofia since 1997. He made his professional debut in the 2006/07 Champions League season against Chelsea London , which Levski Sofia lost 2-0. Since he was appointed to Levski’s professional squad in 2005, the club has celebrated three championships, two cup wins and two Supercup wins with Mitrew. In the summer of 2013 he left the club to take on city rivals Lokomotiv . Here he became the core force between the posts. In the summer of 2015, the Moldovan association Sheriff Tiraspol signed him . Here, however, he could not get past Alexei Koşelev and was rarely in the team. In 2016 the Moldovan championship won. In early 2017 he returned to Levski, where he was number one in the 2017/18 season . In the 2018/19 season he was only used five times. In February 2019, he terminated his contract.
