features

Bosc's tender shrimp is similar to the striped tender shrimp , but is larger with a length of 13 to 18 millimeters (males) and 16 to 20 millimeters (females). It has a thick, pointed abdomen and a slightly saddle-shaped pronotum . The wings are very short, the dark-striped antennae are about body length. The basic color is light green. A light yellow stripe runs from the eye to the rear edge of the pronotum, which is continued in a broader yellow band to the end of the abdomen. Below the band on the abdomen is a parallel black band. Both ligaments can be missing in the female. The wing edges are colored black, the remaining parts are brown.
