Boucles de la Seine-Saint-Denis

The Boucles de la Seine-Saint-Denis was a French cycle race in the Seine-Saint-Denis department .

The one-day race was held for the first time in 1945 and was held annually until 1973 with a few interruptions. The Frenchman Joseph Groussard won most often (1958, 1961 and 1962). His compatriot, the three-time Tour de France winner Louison Bobet , won the event in 1947.

The tradition of racing was resumed once again on the occasion of the 1998 World Cup . The race was held on May 31, 1998 as part of the Coupe de France racing series and won by the Belgian Tony Bracke ahead of the French Jimmy Casper and the Estonian Lauri Aus .
