The Boxbachpfad is a 16 km long circular hiking trail in the border area of North Rhine-Westphalia and Hesse . It is looked after by the Lahn-Dill-Bergland Nature Park and is certified as a premium trail by the German Hiking Institute . The path was designed in 2008.

Starting from Wiesenbach it leads to Hesselbach and past the eponymous Boxbach . On the way you pass the Boxbach pit and the Silbersee and have a good view of the Hesselbach wind farm .

The path mainly leads through protected forest and meadow areas. The North Rhine-Westphalian part of the route is entirely part of the Sauerland-Rothaargebirge nature park and partly of the Bad Laasphe nature reserve .
