The bridge in Oberkammlach , a district of the municipality of Kammlach in the Unterallgäu district ( Bavaria ), was probably built in the 18th century. The heritage-protected bridge is located about 150 meters west of the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and crosses the Kammel . Formerly the trunk road between Mindelheim and Memmingen ran over the bridge, now the Reichsstrasse runs over the bridge. During the battle of August 13, 1796 between the troops of the French Republic and the French Prince Condé , it was fiercely contested.

The bridge, consisting of two arches, was built from bricks and partly from Nagelfluh and tuff blocks . The bridge rises towards the middle. The foundation of the central pillar has been heavily renewed over time. On the south side of the central pillar there is a spur with a wall template, on the opposite north side only the wall template is left. High water marks from 1876 and 1944 are attached to the south side.
