The Brückenhaussee is a quarry pond in the urban area of Baunach in the Bamberg district . It is also called Baunacher Baggersee .
Transport links
There is an asphalt driveway that branches off to the left from the B 279 between Breitengüßbach and Baunach and leads directly to the parking lot at the lake.

The Brückenhaussee has an approximately 4,500 m² sunbathing area and a water surface of around 60,000 m² (65,000 m² in front of the dam construction). There are also two freestanding showers and a small sand area; A toilet block of the Baunach water rescue service can be used at times .
monitoring
The BRK Wasserwacht Baunach is responsible for monitoring on the summer weekends ; the parking lot is looked after by a groundskeeper for a fee.
Water quality
The water quality of the lake is checked monthly. According to the EU classification of bathing water quality , it is considered excellent. A bathing water profile will be created for the first time in autumn 2011.
Dam construction
Between 2007 and 2008, for reasons of bird and water protection, a green dam was built through the lake, which is intended to transform the western part into a spawning and breeding area.
