Architecture and history
The villa was built in 1896 for the mayor of Quedlinburg, Ernst Bansi . The construction was carried out by the master bricklayer Fr. Timpe . The building is, unusual for the construction time, strict and reserved in its design. The facade consists of red clinker bricks, with glazed bricks being used for the structure. The floor plan of the house is irregular, the structure itself is described as well proportioned.
The design of the villa was continued in the layout of the garden and the property fence.
