Architecture and history
The villa was built in 1897 by the architect Max Schneck for the merchant H. Wachtel . Neo-Gothic and Neo-Renaissance elements can be found in the design of the building . The clinker facade is structured by sandstone elements. The richly decorated house has a street-side tower and a bay window . Tracery , stepped gables and columns are used as decorative elements . The floor plan is also lavishly designed.
